This is a short module (4-5 hours) I developed for Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programmes under the guidance of my yoga master, Dr Yogannath Andianppan.
It draws on my research experience during my MSc. Applied Neuroscience at King's College London, integrating the historical roots of mindfulness with contemporary neuroscience. The module covers the neural mechanisms of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness and reviews current clinical evidence on mindfulness-based practices in relation to stress biomarkers and cognitive health.
As we go through the session, I also help students build on foundational meditation and awareness skills from the mindfulness approach.

This module can be integrated into any yoga teacher training programme. Currently, it has been taught as part of the following YTT programmes
Anahata Yoga, Hong Kong (As part of the 100-hour Pranayama and Meditation Teacher Training)
IKIGAI Yoga & Wellness, Hong Kong (As part of the RYS 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training)
