Following the completion of my MSc in Applied Neuroscience at King’s College London, my research explores how contemplative practices - including yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork - can be understood through contemporary neuroscience to improve mental health and cognitive wellbeing. I am particularly interested in developing accessible, evidence-based interventions that enhance stress regulation, attention, emotional resilience, and human flourishing.
I hope to contribute to a stronger evidence base that informs clinical practice, healthcare policy, and the development of innovative digital technologies that make preventive healthcare and wellbeing interventions more accessible to people worldwide.
My current research focuses on developing a novel gamified respiratory biofeedback intervention that combines controlled breathing practices with game technology to support stress regulation and attentional control in young adults. By integrating contemplative practices with digital health and behavioural neuroscience, this work explores how engaging, evidence-informed technologies can improve adherence to wellbeing interventions while making effective mental health support more accessible and scalable.
